“It’s a wonderful balance. Your use of imagery is also very advanced here, and your chorus is spotless! Great, great job. You clearly have a natural talent for heartfelt and energy filled lyric, which is something that can’t be taught, so keep up the great work. This melody is really strong and has the perfect vibe and is well matched with your lyric and what you’re going for. Great energy, fresh, and wonderful verse/chorus contrast! Your writing is at a really high level.”

“In Hypnotized David Snyder has put out a great collection of high energy songs, uplifting ballads, and instrumentals reminiscent of Springsteen or Sting and a little Beatlesque. From the rousing "Making the Most" to the Bouncy "Hey Now" and the Lyrical "Love at Last", the album makes for enjoyable listening. Snyder combines though-provoking lyrics like the moving image of the broken violin in "Picture of My Heart" with killer guitar licks as in "Eclipse for a Day". A really good debut album!--Bill Stanek, Memphis Chapter Coordinator, Nashville Songwriters Association”

"Hope" is so beautiful, just lodges in the heart and mind and plays there. --Noe Venable, Award Winning Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist

"If Bruce Springsteen hears this, he may just hang his head in shame, and ask himself what he has done lately. And Bono--well he may just decide to hang up his boots for good. Rock 'n roll takes no prisoners people. It knows itself by its own name."

"How did you get David Gilmour to play on your album?"

“This is a lovely collection that shows off [David's} his ear for melodies as well as his deft guitar playing. His work falls into the singer-songwriter genre, with nods to folk and rock, a hint of country and inspirational music. The opening track, "Hope," has been stuck in my head all week. "Eclipse for a Day" and "On the Doorstep of Heaven" are sweet instrumentals. The bluesy "Hey Now" has almost a Steely Dan feel to it; "Hypnotized" is trippy "White Album"-ish pop; "Love at Last" and "Making the Most" are just good, solid pop-rock songs.”
